Summer Camp 2026: Lottery Registration is Your One-Stop Shop for Everything Summer Camp

For the third consecutive year, Girl Scouts of Central Texas is continuing its commitment to an improved summer camp registration process through our randomized lottery system. This approach supports our goal of providing a more innovative and equitable session selection process that removes the pressure of time-specific registration. The lottery system allows us to place your camper in the best session available based on your requested criteria.

Beginning January 4, 2026, Girl Scouts will have ten days to complete the summer camp lottery registration form to submit up to five camp session options for each camper. Meaning, you’re more likely to get one of your top choices.

Girl Scouts will be notified on January 16, 2026, of their registered or waitlisted session. Beginning February 3, 2026, registration for all remaining camp sessions will open.

Those choosing to register for summer camp through the lottery will be able to take care of all of their summer camp needs in one place and take advantage of several opportunities:

Early access to all camp sessions before they fill up. (Yes, some very popular sessions do fill up during the lottery process, but we do our best to make adjustments and offer additional options when that happens.)
Lock in the early bird pricing.
Provide up to five camp session options to maximize the chance of getting into a preferred session.
Identify one buddy (must be mutual with both campers picking the same session(s) and requesting each other) to be registered with.
Coordinate schedules between siblings.
Purchase a camp t-shirt for your camper to be delivered during camp check-in.
Purchase Trading Post Bucks for your camper to use while at camp (NEW! See summer camp page for more information.).
Take advantage of our $50 paid in full discount (lottery exclusive).
Apply for financial assistance and be eligible for a reduced deposit.
Purchase a Girl Scout membership if your camper does not already have one.
