Summer Camp

More than a get-away, summer camp is a place where campers explore the outdoors, try new activities, practice independence away from home, learn to work with others, make new friends, and so much more.
Girl Scout Camp combines classic camp activities, including arts and crafts, archery, swimming, and campfires, with unique Girl Scout traditions of camp songs and games.
Whether campers attend camp daily or spend a whole week away from home, they’ll discover, connect, and take action on issues and challenges that are important to them.
At Girl Scouts of Central Texas camps, we give Girl Scouts a chance to discover more about who they are and what they can become. Each child is a unique individual, and we believe that summer camp is beneficial for all.
Our friendly and caring staff will help guide campers through our progressive programs. We encourage Girl Scouts to take healthy risks and experience new things as they build essential life skills, such as:
Girl Scouts of Central Texas runs seven weeks of camp, and each session has a theme. The programming and activities for that session connect to the theme. Each session participates in their own age-appropriate activities.
Whether you're a first-time camper or experienced adventurer, an outdoor enthusiast or a creative artist, you'll find the perfect program at one of our overnight camps or at one of our unique day camps. Overnight sessions at Camp Texlake and Bluebonnet Shores Girl Scout Camp range from three to 14 days. Day camp sessions at the Kodosky Service Center located in North Austin run for five days.
Join our summer camp team and spend your summer mentoring Girl Scouts, building leadership skills, and getting paid to be outdoors!
