But girls today must overcome barriers to achieve their highest potential. Girls in the United States are growing up in a period of rapid demographic, social, and economic change. Compared to 10 years ago, many girls in the U.S. experience problems with their physical and emotional health—they are increasingly stressed, anxious, and depressed, compounded by feeling the pressure to be perfect. Many girls lack access to extracurricular activities that promote positive development.
The Trefoil Society is a group of engaged philanthropic individuals dedicated to making a lasting impact and investing in the power of every Girl Scout. Your support through the Trefoil Society enables us to innovate and address the real-time issues affecting youth and volunteers in our community. It also ensures we can consistently be there for those who need us.
