Our Council
Girl Scouts of Central Texas connects more than 12,000 youth and over 10,000 adult members across 46 counties. Our council makes up the greater areas of Austin, Bryan/College Station, Brownwood, San Angelo, Stephenville, Killeen, and Waco.
We serve our community best by championing every girl, in every home, in every area of our council. We strive to understand the unique needs of girls across our region and respond with programs that build confidence, courage, and character—equipping them to thrive in school, in their communities, and throughout their lives.
We are committed to providing every member the opportunity to fully participate in Girl Scouts and contribute meaningfully to our shared mission. Together, we create a space where everyone belongs.
We believe every girl deserves a place where she feels accepted, respected, supported, and free to be her authentic self. Creating such an environment is central to the Girl Scout experience and essential to building sisterhood.
All members, volunteers, and staff are expected to uphold the principles of the Girl Scout Law, which guide us in treating one another with kindness, fairness, and integrity.
