Request Form for Gold and Silver Award Projects that Benefit GSCTX
Girl Scouts may pursue Silver Award and Gold Award projects that benefit the Girl Scout community at the troop, service unit, council, or national level.
Regardless of the partner or beneficiary, all Silver and Gold Awards must meet award requirements:
- The project makes a lasting difference in the local community, region, or beyond.
- The project puts the Girl Scout Promise and Law into action.
- The project includes provisions to ensure sustainability.
- The project identifies national and/or global links to the selected issue.
- The project inspires others.

GSCTX reserves the right to decline project ideas that serve the Girl Scouts community but do not meet the standards of approval or sustainability. Do not start your project until you receive approval from the designated GSCTX council staff member that will be working with you on the project.
