Want to get hooked on fishing? Join us at McKinney Falls State Park
to celebrate Girl Scouts Love State Parks with a reel-y fun morning of
fishing!
Team up with a park ranger to master your casting
skills using a backyard bass set, learn a few handy fishing knots, and
then try your luck at catching the real deal with our loaner rods and
bait-no experience needed!
Once you've had your fill of fishing
fun, swing by the Visitors Center and check out a Junior Ranger
Backpack for even more outdoor exploring!
Location: McKinney Fall State Park, Austin
Supervision level: This is NOT A DROP OFF EVENT. Adults are required to REGISTER and remain with their youth participants. Girl Scout volunteers bringing their troop must follow all Safety Activity Checkpoints.
Badge/Patch: Fun patch will be given out at the event
Required paperwork: Please complete the following sections of the Council Event Health and Permission Forms, print, and bring with you to the event: Section A
