Girl Scouts of Central Texas is only as strong as the volunteers who support our young members as we strive to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Our board of directors is a group of volunteers who help to lead the organization’s strategic direction and ensure we use our resources wisely. In July, the delegates representing our council’s membership voted in nine new board members, ensuring our Board of Directors represents the diversity of the 46 counties we serve, with members from San Angelo, Waco, Bosque County, Killeen, Temple, Bryan, College Station, Austin, Round Rock, Pflugerville, and Georgetown.
Learn a little bit about our newest board members and what motivates them to support Girl Scouts.
