Money-Earning, Fundraising, or Sponsorships Application/Report
This form is for Girl Scouts, troops, and service units wanting to earn money for special events, fundraising, or Higher Awards projects. This form may be used for one-time events/projects or for an event/project that recurs throughout the membership year. It can also be used to report donations over $250 or those that require a council thank-you.
Please note: This form should be used both prior to a money-earning or fundraising event/project and as a way of reporting after the money-earning or fundraising event/project is complete.
- Money Earning is defined as an activity organized by an individual Girl Scout or a Girl Scout group/troop (rather than by the Girl Scout council) to earn money for an individual Girl Scout’s higher award project or for the group/troop. Money Earning is planned and carried out by youth members in partnership with adults.
- Sponsorships are defined as donations of services, meeting locations, monetary gifts, or in-kind gifts to a group or troop.
- Fundraising is defined as an activity organized by a group of adults to assist a group or troop with raising funds.
- Concession Money-Earning activity has ended. Troops with an approved MY24 concessions application on file for a trip that is taking place in MY25 will be allowed to continue with concessions through July 31, 2025. No new applications will be accepted. Additional information can be found here.

Upon submitting this form, you will receive a response from a GSCTX staff member within three to five business days. Please be sure to submit this application at least two weeks in advance of the event/project to allow ample time for a response.
As of October 1, 2021, Girl Scouts of Central Texas will assess a 6% administrative fee to troop sponsorships resulting from workplace giving programs.
