Find out about careers in natural resources, emergency response, and wildland firefighting. Learn how to put out fires with engines and bulldozers, practice leadership and communication skills, and discover other important parts of being a member of a wildland firefighting crew. Led by Texas' top women wildland firefighters, youth in grades 8 to 12 explore wildfire and emergency response through hands-on learning experiences.

This event is hosted by Texas A&M Forest Service and is also open to youth who are not Girl Scouts. Girl Scout staff will not be on site at this event.
Location: Sisters in Fire training site, Manor
Supervision level: This is a DROP OFF event. Please plan on checking in your registered Girl Scout with required paperwork submitted at check-in.
