Join a geologist and learn about the cool rocks of Central Texas! Stop by and visit with Geologist Mark Potts behind the park store and learn about the amazing geology found in Central Texas.
All materials will be provided, just bring your curiosity and creativity!
Special instructions: Meet at the Park Store Porch
Park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass. On busy weekends, reserve your day use pass early online! Please note: You do not need to register or make a reservation for this event, just be sure you have a day pass purchased for everyone attending.

Location: Inks Lake State Park,Burnet

Supervision level: This is NOT A DROP OFF EVENT. Adults are required to remain with their youth participants. Girl Scout volunteers bringing their troop must follow all Safety Activity Checkpoints.

Badge/Patch: Fun patch will be given out at the event

Registration is not required for this event.
