Celebrate Girl Scouts Love State Parks weekend by planting wildflower
seeds for future generations. LBJ State Park provides the seeds. You
do the stompin'! Then, celebrate the life and legacy of Lady Bird
Johnson by learning all about the importance of pollinators and
flowers. But the fun doesn't end there.... Be sure to come back in the
Spring to see the blooms you helped create!
There is no entrance
fee at Lyndon B. Johnson State Park & Historic Site and the

The Annual Seed Stomp is a free public event, but only those
registered for this Girl Scout event will do the Pollinator patch
activities.

short films, and learn about the land that shaped President Johnson's
worldview

Education Center also known as the Scout Hut is available to rent for
tent camping by calling 512-389-8920.

Scouts of Central Texas is deeply appreciative of this partnership,
which makes our Texas Explorers program possible and empowers our Girl
Scouts to develop advanced outdoor skills while exploring the
incredible diversity of Texas State Parks. Together, we are
cultivating the next generation of outdoor leaders and adventurers who
will serve as the future stewards of our Texas lands. As a condition
of this funding, GSCTX is required to collect demographic information
for all participants. This data is shared with the grant funder in
an anonymized and aggregated format only. It will
not be tied to the participant's name or personal identity.
Location: LBJ State Park, Stonewall
Supervision level: This is NOT A DROP OFF EVENT. Adults are required to remain with their youth participants. Girl Scout volunteers bringing their troop must follow all Safety Activity Checkpoints.
Badge/Patch: Fun patch will be given out at the event
