Curiosity Cube is a retrofitted shipping container that features hands-on science experiments designed to spark interest in STEM careers. This year, the Curiosity Cube experiments will focus on synthetic biology.
We will dive into the fundamentals of synthetic biology through three interactive experiments:
1. Explore how enzyme shapes influence biological processes using lock-and-key models.
2. Discover how DNA "codes" affect traits and behaviors.
3. Learn how turning genes on and off can create genes that help solve real-world problems.
There are different sessions running during the day. Be sure to arrive on time for your session. If you are late, you will not be able to join another session.
