From costume design to stage decor, this Textiles workshop invites Girl Scouts to explore the colorful world of fabric arts used in theatre. Taught by costume designers and craft professionals, participants will dye, stitch, and decorate their way through a hands-on journey in creativity and design.
Location: The Performing Arts Community Center, Waco
Supervision level: This is a DROP OFF event, however, we require a certain number of safety-wise adults in order for the event to happen. Please plan to drop off your registered Girl Scout with required paperwork submitted at check in. If you can volunteer, please register into one of the adult spots. If enough adults are not registered by the registration close date, this event may need to be cancelled. All adults registering to volunteer at the event are required to be a registered Girl Scout adult member, have a current/eligible criminal background check (CBC), and have completed GSCTX youth protection training.

Required paperwork: Please complete the following sections of the Council Event Health and Permission Forms, print, and bring with you to the event: Sections A and B
