Like the first explorers of Texas, we will travel down the Colorado
River, hike through the woods, and climb to great heights! Meet at
McKinney Roughs for a day of excitement and adventure with a focus on
land stewardship. We will get vertical on the rock-climbing wall,
enjoy the thrill of a zip line, and raft down the Colorado River! Pack
a lunch and get ready for a day of outdoor adventure.
Location: McKinney Roughs Nature Park, Cedar Creek
Supervision level: This is NOT A DROP OFF EVENT. Adults are required to REGISTER, PAY, and remain with their youth participants. Girl Scout volunteers bringing their troop must follow all Safety Activity Checkpoints.
Badge/Patch: Fun patch will be given out at the event.
Required paperwork: Please complete the following sections of the Council Event Health and Permission Forms, print, and bring with you to the event: Section A
