Girl Scouts of Central Texas and the Science Mill are teaming up to
bring you a badge day at the museum! Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, and
Cadettes; you are invited to join us at the Science Mill on Saturday,
September 20th from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. for self-guided activities and
special workshops. Earn badges with your troop or your family as you
complete self-guided badge activities. All the museum's activities are
open to all Girl Scouts and are included with museum admission. Thanks
to the Frank K. Webb Charitable Trust, Girl Scouts and Troop Leaders
receive FREE ADMISSION.
Badges to earn: Daisies
will design and build model cars (Model Car Design Badge), while
Brownies get acquainted with bugs (Brownie Bugs Badge), Juniors will
check out the physics of movement with balloon cars(Junior Balloon Car
Design Badge), and Cadettes will earn their Special Agent badge! Earn
your Daisy How Robots Move or Brownie/Junior/Cadette Programming
Robots badges at workshops held throughout the day for an additional
fee ($5).
Location: Science Mill, Johnson City
Special instructions: This is NOT A DROP OFF EVENT. Adults are required to remain with their youth participants. Girl Scout volunteers bringing their troop must follow all Safety Activity Checkpoints.
