Discover the magic of theatre and unleash your imagination in this beginner-friendly improv theatre workshop with the Performing Arts Community Center! Participants will dive into the exciting world of improvisation, learning to create characters, scenes, and stories on the spot through games and activities. This workshop focuses on building confidence, communication, and creativity! There will not be a performance, so relax and have fun!
Location: The Performing Arts Community Center, Waco
Supervision Level: This is a DROP OFF event, however, we require a certain number of safety-wise adults in order for the event to happen. Please plan to drop off your registered Girl Scout with drop off forms submitted at check in. Please fill out the Drop-Off & Release Form and bring it with you. This form can be found in the My Events section of your MyGS account by clicking on the event and scrolling to the Additional Documentation section. If you are able to volunteer, please register into one of the adult spots. If enough adults are not registered by the registration closed date, this event may need to be cancelled. GSCTX requires any adult participating with a troop or attending an event as a Girl Scout adult volunteer to have a current year Girl Scout membership, a current/eligible criminal background check (CBC), and have completed GSCTX youth protection training.
Badge/Patch: Fun patch will be given out at the event.
Required paperwork: Once registered, navigate to My Events and click on the event tile. Scroll down to Additional Documentation to find the Council Event Health and Permission Forms. Please complete the following sections, print, and bring with you to the event: Sections A and B
