Wear your favorite water shoes and join us to meet the residents of Clear Fork Creek! What kinds of aquatic bugs live on the bottom of Clear Fork Creek? Join us to conduct a survey of our creek's critters and find out! Nets, seines, and other bug catching gear will be provided.
We will be walking in the creek, so wear water shoes/boots and clothes that can get wet. Flip flops are NOT recommended; closed-toed water shoes or crocs would be better. Bring water and wear sunscreen or bug repellent, as needed. Recommended for ages 5+. If the creek is dry due to drought, we'll have an alternative activity planned.

* Registration for any Girl Scouts Love State Parks event does not include entrance fees to the park, nor does it guarantee entry to the park.
* Texas State Parks often reach capacity. Day use passes and camping reservations are highly recommended. * Entrance fees at Lockhart State Park will be waived for anyone registered for a Girl Scouts Love State Parks weekend.

Supervision level: This is NOT A DROP OFF EVENT. Adults are required to REGISTER and remain with their youth participants. Girl Scout volunteers bringing their troop must follow all Safety Activity Checkpoints.

Badge/Patch: Fun patch will be given out at the event

Required paperwork: Please complete the following sections of the Council Event Health and Permission Forms, print, and bring with you to the event: Section A
