Experience the nocturnal side of Enchanted Rock with our nighttime
guided hike to the summit. As we go up the rock, Ranger Hannah will
tell us a little about the different ways nocturnal animals have
adapted their senses to better live in the dark.
This event is
recommended for ages 8+. Bring a head lamp with a red-light function
to use on the trip down from the summit.

Registration for any Girl Scouts Love State Parks event does not
include entrance fees to the park, nor does it guarantee entry to the
park.
* Enchanted Rock often reaches capacity. Day use passes
and camping reservations are highly recommended. To guarantee entry,

Entrance fees at Enchanted Rock are $8 daily for ages 13+. There is no
charge for youth ages 12 and under.

Location: Enchanted Rock State Natural Area, Fredericksburg
Supervision level: This is NOT A DROP OFF EVENT. Adults are required to REGISTER and remain with their youth participants. Girl Scout volunteers bringing their troop must follow all Safety Activity Checkpoints.
Badge/Patch: Fun patch will be given out at the event
