Junior and Cadette Girl Scouts are invited to Game Warriors Coding
and Digital Art Academy for an exciting hands-on workshop where
creativity meets code! You will dive into the world of digital game
design, learning how to plan, code, and test your own playable
games-all while exploring the impact of technology for good.
Girls will complete all the steps required to earn their "Coding
for Good: Digital Game Design" badge, guided by experienced
instructors in a fun and inspiring environment built for young
creators. No prior experience needed - just imagination and a
willingness to try something new!
Location: Game Warriors, Cedar Park
Supervision level: This is NOT A DROP OFF EVENT. Adults are required to remain with their youth participants. Girl Scout volunteers bringing their troop must follow all Safety Activity Checkpoints.
Badge/Patch: Coding for Good - Digital Game Design badge will be given out at the event
Required paperwork: Please complete the following sections of the Council Event Health and Permission Forms, print, and bring with you to the event: Section A
