Council and national awards are given for outstanding volunteer service benefiting one or more service units or areas of the council. Before nominating a volunteer, review the detailed description of each award and nomination criteria in the Volunteer Awards Guide found within Service Unit Resources. Then use the Council and National Awards Nomination Form Preview (PDF) to prepare your nomination before submitting this form.
Council and national award nominations are accepted from October 1 through April 1.
The GSCTX Volunteer Awards Committee reviews and approves council and national award nominations in April and May. Award nomination notifications are sent no later than June. Apply by April 1 to be part of the committee.
