The Zilker Girl Scout House has been a home for adventure, leadership, and lifelong friendships for generations of Girl Scouts. We invite you to join us for a closing ceremony that honors its legacy, reflects on its impact, and celebrates how the Girl Scout spirit continues to grow and thrive.
Pre-registration is not needed for this event. We look forward to seeing you there! Details below.
Location: Zilker Girl Scout House, Austin
Parking: Follow the signs to McBeth Recreation Center (2401 Columbus Drive) and park in the surface lot. Please make sure to not park in spots reserved for city vehicles.
Accessibility Note: Reaching the Zilker Girl Scout House from the parking area requires walking along a wooded path with uneven ground. This path may be challenging for guests using wheelchairs, walkers, or other mobility aids.
Restrooms: No restroom facilities are available at this event. Please plan ahead.
Supervision level: This is NOT A DROP OFF EVENT. Adults are required to remain with their youth participants. Girl Scout volunteers bringing their troop must follow all Safety Activity Checkpoints.
Badge/patch: Zilker Girl Scout House patches will be given out at the event.
