This interactive workshop presented by the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at UT Dell Medical School supports the Girl Scout Senior 'Mind, Body, Me' Journey by guiding participants through Discover, Connect, and Take Action components. The curriculum is research-informed, age-appropriate, and focuses on resilience, self-awareness, and leadership in mental health and wellness.
Girl Scouts will learn the science of stress through stress mapping, practice coping skills & resilience techniques, and learn how to establish healthy peer boundaries. By the end of the workshop, they will take home the 'Mind, Body, Me' Badge. There will also be an opportunity to tour the University of Texas at Austin campus and ask alum their burning college questions.
