Suit up and learn to fly with iFly Austin.
Experience an
interactive physics demonstration in wind tunnels, spend time learning
more about flights with a virtual educator, design your own flight
suit, then finish your experience with two flights in the wind tunnel
guided by certified world-class iFLY flight instructors.
Flight Requirements:
- Individuals 300 lbs. or over cannot fly.
- Do not fly if pregnant.
- Individuals with hard casts or prosthetics that cannot be removed are not allowed to fly.
- Individuals with head/neck/back injuries, shoulder dislocations, heart conditions, or any other condition that may impede their ability to take part in a physical activity should not fly.
All participants must complete the iFly Flight Waiver that will be
emailed two weeks prior to event date.
Please note the facility
will be open to the general public during this event.
Location: iFLY, Austin
Supervision level: This is NOT A DROP OFF EVENT. Adults are required to remain with their Girl Scouts. Adults wishing to fly will need to REGISTER and PAY. All Girl Scout volunteers bringing their troop must follow all Safety Activity Checkpoints.
Badge/Patch: Fun patch will be given out at the event.
Required paperwork: iFLY waiver can be found in the My Events section of your MyGS account by clicking on the event and scrolling to the Additional Documentation section.
