Come out to the honey ranch for a fun afternoon of harvesting honey!
This hands-on class will teach you all about how we extract and jar
honey after harvesting it from the hive.
Be prepared to get
sticky as our beekeepers walk you through the process of uncapping,
extracting, and jarring honey. Then you will get to taste different
kinds of honey. You'll start the class with an untouched frame of pure
honeycomb. You'll go home with a mini jar of your own honey!
Working with honey can get messy, so wear clothes that will hold up in
the event of drips or spills. Be ready to get your hands a little
sticky! This class is suitable for adults and kids aged 10 and
older.
Note: Participants will not be touring the hives during
this program. This class is held indoors.
