NOTE: This is a two part course and you must attend both parts to earn the award. Only one registration is required.

Earn the newly updated Teaching Leadership Award to open the door to the Highest Awards. Once you earn your level's award, you have fulfilled the prerequisite to be ready to start your Silver or Gold Award.
- Cadettes complete Teaching Leadership 1, 2, and 3 to earn their Program Aide award.
- Seniors and Ambassadors complete Teaching Leadership 1, 2, 3, and 4 to earn their Volunteer-in-Training award.
This series covers Teaching Leadership 3. Prerequisites are:
- Either completion of Higher Awards Pathway: Teaching Leadership 1 and 2,
- Or completion of Steps 1-3 of the Program Aide award,
- Or completion of Steps 1-2 of the Volunteer-in-Training award,
- Or completion of Steps 1-3 of the Volunteer-in-Training award
Sunday, February 8 from 7-8 p.m. is a virtual meeting for the cohort to plan the March 8 event. Now that you have experience planning an activity, it's time to plan an entire meeting. Your group will be leading a princess-themed Girl Scout Week party. Come with ideas for sharing Girl Scout traditions and sisterhood as well as songs that you could lead.
Sunday, March 8 from 12:30-4:15 p.m. is the day of the Girl Scout Week Princess Party at Kodosky Service Center. You'll set up, lead the entire meeting, clean up afterwards, then reflect on the experience.
This is the last step for Cadettes to earn the Program Aide award. Select the Cadette Aide Award pin merchandise add-on at check out to purchase your pin. Seniors and Ambassadors will receive resources on how to complete the remaining steps of the Teaching Leadership Awards.

Location: Part 1 (2/8/26): Virtual; Part 2 (3/8/26): Kodosky Service Center, Austin

Supervision level: March 8: This is a DROP OFF event, however, we require a certain number of safety-wise adults in order for the event to happen. Please plan to drop off your registered Girl Scout with required paperwork submitted at check in. If you can volunteer, please register into one of the adult spots. If enough adults are not registered by the registration close date, this event may need to be cancelled. All adults registering to volunteer at the event are required to be a registered Girl Scout adult member, have a current/eligible criminal background check (CBC), and have completed GSCTX youth protection training.

Badge/patch: Fun patch will be given out at the event. Cadettes can purchase the Program Aide Award during registration.

Required paperwork: Please complete the following sections of the Council Event Health and Permission Forms, print, and bring with you to the event: Sections A and B.
