Experience an exhilarating indoor rock-climbing adventure at Crux Climbing Center in Pflugerville! Physically challenge yourself, build confidence, and have fun while conquering the climbing walls. With expert instructors from UT's Texas Rock Climbing Team to guide you, this is a safe and empowering experience perfect for all skill levels from beginner to advanced. At the end of your session, you will earn a cool fun patch, plus steps 1 - 4 of the Climbing Adventure Badge.
Safety wise adults must register but will not be climbing during our session. Once our session concludes, girls can continue their day pass climbing privileges under the supervision of their caregiver. Caregivers that wish to climb will pay Crux directly on site.
Location: Crux Climbing Center, Pflugerville
Supervision level: This is a DROP OFF event, however, we require a certain number of safety-wise adults in order for the event to happen. Please plan to drop off your registered Girl Scout with required paperwork submitted at check in. If you can volunteer, please register into one of the adult spots. If enough adults are not registered by the registration close date, this event may need to be cancelled. All adults registering to volunteer at the event are required to be a registered Girl Scout adult member, have a current/eligible criminal background check (CBC), and have completed GSCTX youth protection training.
Badge/Patch: Fun patch will be given out at the event
Required paperwork: Please complete the following sections of the Council Event Health and Permission Forms, print, and bring with you to the event: Sections A and B.
