The University of Texas Department of Mathematics invites you to our
Sonia Kovalevsky Math Day. Join us for hands-on math activities, a
Women in STEM career panel, a college information panel, and an escape
room challenge. In addition to learning where math can take you, you
will learn from UT professors and students how to share our passion
for mathematics with others. You will join us to help offer Math Fun
Day to younger Girl Scouts while you earn service hours! We hope to
encourage young women to continue their love and study of
mathematics!
Participants will earn 3 hours for community
service time. Please let staff on site know if you need paperwork
signed off.
Bring a sack lunch (nut free) and water bottle. Girl
Scout uniform is highly encouraged!
