Ready to build a robot? Dive into the exciting world of robotics as
our all-girl FRC robotics team, The Lady Cans, guides you through the
process of building a robot, from planning to construction to
presentation. Brownies will earn their Designing Robots Badge
(Robotics Badge #2) and Showcasing Robots Badge (Robotics Badge
#3).
Location: Kodosky Service Center, Austin
Supervision level: This is a DROP OFF event, however, we require a certain number of safety-wise adults in order for the event to happen. Please plan to drop off your registered Girl Scout with required paperwork submitted at check in. If you can volunteer, please register into one of the adult spots. If enough adults are not registered by the registration close date, this event may need to be cancelled. All adults registering to volunteer at the event are required to be a registered Girl Scout adult member, have a current/eligible criminal background check (CBC), and have completed GSCTX youth protection training.
Badge/Patch: Brownie Designing Robots Badge and Brownie Showcasing Robots Badge will be given out at the event.
Required paperwork: Please complete the following sections of the Council Event Health and Permission Forms, print, and bring with you to the event: Sections A and B.
