Come handmake your holidays gifts with us -- all with ingredients courtesy of our honey bees! We will start by learning about honey bees, how bees make honey and beeswax, and how we responsibly harvest these products. Next, put your new skills to use! Every Girl Scout will make three items to take home: bottled and infuse a jar of honey, a hand-dipped beeswax lantern, and a customized honeyed face and body scrub.
Location: Two Hives Honey, Manor
Supervision level: This is NOT A DROP OFF EVENT. Adults are required to remain with their youth participants. Adults have the option to register and participate for a fee. Girl Scout volunteers bringing their troop must follow all Safety Activity Checkpoints.
Badge/patch: Fun patch will be given out at the event.
Required paperwork: Please complete the following sections of the Council Event Health and Permission Forms, print, and bring with you to the event: Section A.
