Touch-an-Instrument at UT is an opportunity for curious Girl Scouts to see, hear, and touch some of the instruments the UT Longhorn Marching Band plays while discovering the wonderful world of music. Leaning on the Girl Scout Junior Musician Badge curriculum, girls will explore how music is made, listen to music from near and far, even create their own music with a chance to perform! Girls will receive a Musician Fun Patch at the end of the event.
Location: University of Texas at Austin, Austin
Supervision level: This is NOT A DROP OFF EVENT. Adults are required to remain with their youth participants. Girl Scout volunteers bringing their troop must follow all Safety Activity Checkpoints.
Badge/Patch: Fun patch will be given out at the event.
Required paperwork: Please complete the following sections of the Council Event Health and Permission Forms, print, and bring with you to the event: Section A.
