Summer is here! Now's the perfect time to get outside and have some
fun under the sun. Earn your 2024 Girl Scouts Love the Outdoors
Challenge patch, work together to create an outdoor challenge course,
perfect the recipe for blowing giant bubbles, try making S'mores in a
solar oven, and more!
Girl Scouts should wear play clothes that
can get dirty, closed-toe shoes, and sunscreen. Bug spray is
recommended. A snack will be provided. More information will be
provided in the event confirmation event two weeks before the
event.
Location: Georgetown Girl Scout House, Georgetown
Special Instructions: This is NOT A DROP OFF EVENT. Adults are required to REGISTER and remain with their Girl Scouts. As required by Volunteer Essentials and Safety Activity Checkpoints, adults attending this event are responsible for their troop or individual Girl Scout's behavior. All adults participating with a troop or registered to volunteer at the event are required to have a current/eligible background check (CBC) and to be a registered Girl Scout adult volunteer.
Badge/Patch: Girl Scouts Love the Outdoors Patch will be given out at the event.
