Girl Scout Recognition Ceremony Speaker Application
Thank you for considering applying to be the speaker at the Girl Scout Recognition Ceremony. This ceremony honors Girl Scouts receiving the Gold Award, scholarship recipients, Commission on the Status of Women delegates, Girl Scout Advisory Board members, and National Delegates.
In the audience there will be caregivers and family members, Girl Scout of Central Texas Board of Directors, and Gold Award Committee members. We are looking for a speech that will resonate with Girl Scouts across every group.
During the ceremony, there will be one timeslot for a speech from a Girl Scout. The final speech should be 5 minutes long, but you only need to have 30 seconds prepared for your application. It can be your intro, a synopsis, or anything that best portrays your speech. We are looking for a speaker that is dynamic and can unite all Girl Scouts in the room.
The deadline to submit is April 22, 2026. You will be notified on April 24, 2026, if you are selected. If selected, you will need to submit your full speech by May 13, 2026.
