Dive into the current state of Texas's groundwater, future climate, and what it all means for our water resources with Dr. Robert Mace, Executive Director of the Meadows Center for Water & the Environment. Girl Scouts of Central Texas and the UT at Austin Environmental Science Institute are working together to pre-register 30 Girl Scouts and adults for each "Hot Science" event. These FREE educational events on the UT campus feature interactive hands-on activities related to the evening's topic starting at 5:30 pm, followed by an exciting talk and Q&A at 7 pm.
Additional tickets for this event will open three weeks in advance of the event directly on the "Hot Science, Cool Talks" website: https://www.esi.utexas.edu/community-engagement/hot-science-cool-talks/

Location: University of Texas at Austin, Austin

Supervision Level: This is NOT A DROP OFF EVENT. Adults are required to REGISTER and remain with their youth participants. Girl Scout volunteers bringing their troop must follow all Safety Activity Checkpoints.
