Join members of the Good Water Master Naturalists for a City Nature
Challenge bioblitz hike, an event that focuses on finding and
identifying as many species as possible in a specific area over a
short period of time. We'll meet at Berry Springs Park and Preserve in
Georgetown and hike around the park and use iNaturalist to record our
observations as part of the Austin City Nature Challenge.
Berry
Springs has a wide assortment of butterflies, dragon and damsel flies,
squirrels, birds, turk's cap, creek plum, western soapberry, historic
pecan trees , and meadow flowers. If we are lucky, the endemic
Williamson County Winecup will be in bloom!
