Virtual Cookie Captain Program (C/S/A) 8/15/22

Mon Aug 15, 9:00 PM - Sun Apr 30, 11:59 PM CDT
Ambassadors, Seniors, Cadettes

The Cookie Captain program provides leadership and service opportunities for Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors (CSAs) heavily invested in our Cookie Program. CSAs who participate in this program earn service hours by mentoring Daisies, assisting in cookie deliveries and other Girl Scout Cookie Program tasks. This program is a great way for girls to become more self-aware as they work through various scenarios.

Step 1: Complete this registration and payment. (Don't forget to select a t-shirt size.)

Step 2: Watch for your Welcome email sent on Wednesdays starting October 12th. Your welcome email will contain links to the training, quiz, presentation templates and program requirements.

Step 3: Complete the training and quiz.

Step 4: Start mentoring younger girls and earning your hours.

Step 5: Track your hours of service through April and submit to receive your Service to Girl Scouting Bar and patch.

New this year, Cookie Captains will prepare a presentation to assist in a Daisy troop meeting to assist in earning their 20 hours of service. Hours can be accrued through mentorship in meetings, Daisy cookie booths, cookie deliveries, or assisting service unit cookie managers with tasks. All cookie captains will receive a t-shirt and those who complete the 20 hours of service will receive a patch, pin or star and the Service to Girl Scouting bar for their level if they haven't already received it.

Location: The training will be done remotely by video. We will then share your information with your service unit and you will begin mentoring the younger girls within your community.

Patch/Badge: A Cookie Captain t-shirt will be mailed to you in January and patch to come at completion of the program.
