Create Your Own SWAPS (D/B) 7/3/22

Do you love receiving SWAPS (Special Whatchamacallits Affectionately Pinned Somewhere)? Now, it’s your turn to make your own set to give away to other Girl Scouts you meet. Engage your creativity to design one-of-a-kind SWAPs using materials and tools provided by Austin Creative Reuse during this hands-on workshop.

Special Instructions: This is NOT A DROP OFF EVENT. Adults are required to remain with their Girl Scouts. As required by Volunteer Essentials and Safety Activity Checkpoints, adults attending this event are responsible for their troop or individual Girl Scout’s behavior. During non-drop off Girl Scout events, adults attending the event are responsible for the safety and well-being of the girls that are in their care during the event. Do not leave your Girl Scouts in the care of other adults at the event that are not part of your group or directly related to the child. Parents or caregivers of individual Girl Scouts that are attending non-drop off events are strongly encouraged to have an eligible, unexpired Criminal Background Check (CBC) on file with Girl Scouts of Central Texas. The easiest way to accomplish this is to add the "Troop Friends and Family" role to their membership.
