Share Your Story

Our girls and volunteers are some of the most inspiring people in the world, and we want to share their tales of awesome journeys, acts of service, challenges conquered, and so much more!

Submit your story below, and you might be featured on our website, social media, or blog! Plus, you can earn a totally awesome patch, to show everyone that you’re a storyteller.

Helpful Tips

Not sure where to begin? Don’t worry, we have all the tips and tricks to ensure you give us the information we need to share your adventures with your community, your council, and beyond!

Tell us more, tell us more!
We want to know EVERYTHING about your story. The easiest way to make sure you don’t forget any of the important details is to think of the 5 W’s. Who, What, When, Where, and Why. Easy, peasy!

Let others tell your story!
We want you to include your own, and others’, direct quotes in your submission! Instead of writing “We planted a community garden, and it’s great,” maybe you say “We planted a garden, and here’s what the Mayor had to say about the project [insert quote from Mayor about how awesome your troop is here].” See what we mean? Words are powerful!

Show and tell!
When we see pictures of you doing awesome things we get the warm and fuzzies! Think about how your photos can better share the story. Are they clear, can you tell what’s happening in the photo, and do your photos show action or variety? Check these boxes and… Click! You’ll have a picture-perfect story!

Passion, not perfection!
Your story doesn’t have to be perfectly polished. If you are excited about your adventures, service, and Girl Scout journey, then you’re already halfway to the best story. Because to inspire others, you have to be inspired yourself.

By submitting your stories and photos here, you are granting permission to GSCTX to use them in our publicity materials. Please only submit photos including girls whose photos may be used publicly. We do not use girls' surnames in these materials unless specifically granted permission to do so.
