Money-Earning, Fundraising, or Sponsorships Application/Report
This form is for Troops/Groups, Girls, and Service Units wanting to earn money for special events, fundraising, or Higher Awards projects. This form may be used for one-time events/projects or for a recurring event/project throughout the membership year. It can also be used for standalone donations over $250 or those that require a council thank-you.
Please note: this form should be used both prior to money-earning or fundraising event/project AND as a way of reporting after the money-earning or fundraising event/project has taken place.
Note:
- Money-Earning is defined as activities organized by a Girl Scout group/troop or individual Girl Scout (not by the Girl Scout Council, in this case, GSCTX) which earn money for the group/troop or individual Girl Scout, and are planned and carried out by girls, in partnership with adults.
- Sponsorships are defined as donations of services, meeting locations, monetary gifts, or in-kind gifts given to a group or troop.
- Fundraising is defined as activities organized by a group of adults to assist a group or troop with raising funds.
- Concession Money-Earning is not covered with this application. You must fill out a this form and submit to GSCTX prior to working in concessions.

Upon submitting this form, you will receive a response from a
GSCTX staff member within 3-5 business days. Please be sure to submit
this application at least two (2) weeks in advance of the
event/project to allow ample time for a response.
Beginning October 1, 2021, Girl Scouts of Central Texas will
assess a 6% administrative fee to troop sponsorships resulting from
workplace giving programs.
