Businesses across Central Texas have generously created even more opportunities for Girl Scouts to learn and explore in their community. These organizations offer unique programming for your girls through badges, local patches, or events. 

A+ Federal Credit Union
  • Patch Program: It is never too early to start thinking about your future. A+FCU’s Patch Program is the perfect way to connect the things you enjoy with possible career choices. For this patch, girls will explore interests, education, and career pathways by evaluating what is important to her and matching it with her skillset. She will examine how careers, college, and finance are tied together. 
  • Branch Tours and Workshop: Troops are invited to attend workshops or take a tour of a local A+FCU branch. 
  • Troop and Individual Accounts: Manage your troop money all  in one place.

The Austin Humane Society offers troop tours, badge workshops, community service opportunities, rescue reading opportunities and is a Bronze, Silver and Gold Award community partner.  To schedule a troop or individual visit, contact Anna Reed at or call 512-685-0128.

Annual Girl Scout Nights will be scheduled through the events calendar. Please check for exact dates and times.

Bull Creek Foundation

The Bull Creek Foundation, an all-volunteer affiliate of the Austin Parks Foundation, has ongoing volunteer projects at Bull Creek District Park, the Greenbelt Trail, and the forthcoming Bull Creek Water Quality Protection Lands trail.

The foundation also offers a variety of badge workshops. Check the events calendar for current dates or contact us to inquire about private troop workshops.

Capital Metro

Patch Program: Travel all around Central Texas on the Capital Metro public transportation system. Discover the variety of transportation options available, learn how to navigate public transit, and stay safe while exploring! 

Community First! Village

Patch Program: Community First! Village is part of the Mobile Loaves and Fishes nonprofit organization. They provide permanent housing and basic needs for the homeless people of Austin and all are accepted without prejudice. On this scavenger hunt, girls will learn more about the community itself and different things to do and see inside Community First! Village. 

Communities in Schools

Girls Lead: The Girls Lead program extends the documented benefits of Girl Scouting to girls from low-income backgrounds, with the goal of helping girls reach their fullest potential by enhancing their self-esteem, leadership, and life skills in a caring, supportive in-school environment.

Dairy Queen

Dare to Dairy Queen Program:  Girls can earn the customer service badge while working at Dairy Queen. She'll learn about having a job and how to run a business. Smith Dairy Queen loves working with our girls to teach business ethics, customer service, and money management. Check the events calendar for upcoming program dates.

Google Fiber

H-E-B’s generous support of Girl Scouts of Central Texas allows our council to offer programs that focus on health and wellness awareness and education opportunities to nearly 17,000 girls annually since 2016. These programs empower Girl Scouts to take their health, happiness, and life skills into their own hands.

  • Health and Wellness Patch Program
  • The Sasquatch Outdoor Race and Expo:  This 3-day outdoor event, situated at GSCTX Camp Kachina on Lake Belton is filled with exploration of fun outdoor activities that promote Health & Wellness awareness, skill building, and leadership. This amazing outdoor weekend will include:
  • HEB Supports Community Troop Healthy Snack Program: This partnership allows Girl Scouts of Central Texas to provide our Community Troops with access to healthy snack options during their troop meetings.

Summer Kids Bowl Free Program:  Kids under 15 can bowl 2 free games daily all summer long!

Round Rock Express Baseball

Annual Summer Overnight at Dell Diamond: Plan a troop adventure to the Dell Diamond and cheer on the Round Rock Express baseball team. After an exciting game, enjoy basketball, rock climbing, swimming, and a movie on the big screen. Pizza and soft drinks served after the game. Donuts and juice in the morning, and coffee for adults!


GSCTX has partnered with VentureLab, a non-profit organization that is helping develop the next generation of innovators, to bring our girls a new entrepreneur program that focuses on how to instill that mindset all year long. VentureLab Founder/CEO, Cristal Glanchai, PHD, is a scientist, entrepreneur, and mentor who is passionate about developing the next generation of creative leaders. Wells Fargo

Patch Program: The Wells Fargo Financial Literacy patch offers real-life exposure to girls about setting goals, managing money, and feeling conifdent with financial decisions.
