Family Fun at Sweet Berry Farms (D/B/J/C)
For: Daisy, Brownie, Junior, Cadette; non-members welcome (grades K-8)
Come out to Marble Falls for a day of fall family fun at Sweet Berry Farms. Go on an old-fashioned hayride, try your luck in the unique Texas Maze, and pick flowers while enjoying the outdoors.
The suggested age range for the Texas Maze is 7 years and up. Activities subject to change. You will be directed to reserve a check-in time with Girl Scouts of Central Texas (GSCTX) to ensure staggered arrivals and social distancing. Anyone attending with members outside their household must follow GSCTX COVID-19 restrictions for Girl Scout gatherings that are in place at the time of the event. Check in will be in front of the Texas Maze. Children need to wear comfortable shoes and clothing that allows for movement.
Registration includes a discounted admission for girls, siblings, and supervising adults. Siblings, additional adults, and tagalongs who do not pre-register with the girl will need to purchase admission at the gate. Girl Scouts will receive a fun patch.
Adults attending this event are responsible for their troop or child’s behavior. During non-drop off Girl Scout events, the safety-wise (Chapter 4 of Volunteer Essentials) adults and adults listed on the Troop Travel Application (TTA) attending the event are responsible for the safety and well-being of the girls that are in their care during the event. Do not leave your Girl Scouts in the care of other adults at the event that are not listed on your TTA or directly related to the child. Parents or guardians of individual Girl Scouts that are attending non-drop off events are strongly encouraged to have an eligible, unexpired Criminal Background Check (CBC) on file with Girl Scouts of Central Texas. The easiest way to accomplish this is to add the "Troop Friends and Family" role to their membership.
Cost: Children $15; Adults $11
Patch/Badge: Girl Scouts receive a Fall Fun participation patch
