Life Skills
Making friends, having fun, and exploring untapped interests touches just the surface on ways Girl Scouts opens up new opportunities for girls. Through games, activities, and hands-on research, girls will learn about key life skills, including:

Developing strong relationships with family and peers

Advocating on behalf of others

Protecting our environment

Exploring careers that change the world for the better
Along the way, girls gain the confidence and motivation to accept challenges, overcome obstacles, and take the lead.

Babysitting & CPR/First Aid Certifications
Some of our most popular Life Skills trainings prepare girls for their first part-time job or set them up for a career in caregiving. Girl Scouts partners with the American Red Cross on licensed, expert-led courses, including Babysitting and CPR/First Aid.
