Friends of Girl Scouting

Friends of Girl Scouting (FOGS) is the yearly fundraising campaign that gives families and friends the opportunity to donate to Girl Scouts of Central Texas.  The support of the Girl Scout Family is essential for our continued financial stability and to prepare to serve more girls in the future.

Again this year, the Friends of Girl Scouting will include a financial goal and a participation goal. Increased participation by families will improve the strength of the Girl Scout movement this year and for years to come.

The goals this year are

  • For at least 15% of GSCTX families to support the campaign.
  • To raise $100,000 to support girl leadership programs.

For the 2011-2012 fiscal year

  • 7% of GSCTX families have supported the campaign.

  • More than $114,000 has been raised to support girl leadership programs.
