Camp Howdy Celebrates 60 Years!
Camp Howdy recently celebrated its 60 year anniversary and MPP fundraising goal of $60k. Congratulations! The Camp Howdy site team is excited to improve the camp, beginning with the Aktoo area and a maintenance barn.
In 2014, GSCTX adopted a three-phase Master Property Plan (MPP). What does this mean? The goal of the MPP is to enhance the quality, diversity, and accessibility of the Girl Scouts Leadership Experience while confronting the critical need for repear and renewal of agency properties. MPP started as a three phase plan; however, MPP has expanded to five phases in order to complete the needed improvements.
Donations of funds and materials are always welcome – check out the details below! Just click on the property for a project list. Do you know someone with expertise in the following projects? Let us know!
